Kausani Attraction : Pinnath Kausani

Pinnath is a village in Kausani and well-known tourist attratcion. It is perfect place for trekking and mostly visited by the devotees.

Location : Pinnath is located just trekking for 5 km from Kausani and located at the foot of the Gopalkot Peak. Gopalkot Peak is located at an elevation of 2,750 m above sea level.

About Pinnath 

Pinnath is famous for Pinnath temple. It is located at the foot of the Gopalkot Peak that overlooks the upper portion of the Kosi Valley. Pinnath temple is dedicated to the Hindu Deity Bhairon.  Pinnath temple is a square shaped temple and has five doors facing the south. Temple walls are ornamented with the images of Hindu deities Mahadev and Devi in adytum.

Main Attraction 

A fair also organised here, every year in the month of October.
