Manali Attraction - Solang Valley
Solang Valley is one of the best prime attraction in Manali. It is famous for its picturesque landscape, snow-covered crests, and the stunning sight of the glaciers. It is located 13 km northwest of Manali, between Beas Kund and Solang village. Solang valley, also famous as "Snow Point" and it is famous for its 300 m ski lift. Solang valley is home to the Department of Mountaineering and Allied Sports hostel, ANTREK Campsite Resort and a skiing instruction center. Recently a ropeway has been opened at Solang Valley.
In Summer when the snow melts then tourist can enjoy the zorbing - "It is adventure activity in which a giant ball with room for two people is rolled off a 200-meter-hill (667 feet)"
In Winter Solang Valley has fine ski slopes making it ideal for skiing and skating among other winter sports.
