In year 1762, Raja Umed Singh was built the Chamunda Devi Temple, main attractions of this temple are animal and floral motifs carved on the ceiling. There is a small shrine of lord Shiva in Shikhara style, Behind the main temple. The main deity in the temple is wrapped in a red cloth and devotees are not allowed to touch them. The temple provide the good overlooking view of river Ravi and Chamba town. Tourist can enjoy the beautiful views of the Chamba valley and Himalayan range.
How to reach
It is accessible by road from the city centre. It is just 3 km from the Chamba.
