About Ashram
In year 1932, Sivananda Ashram was established by the great Indian Sage Swami Shivananda. Sivananda Ashram is located at Rishikesh is the headquarters of the Divine Life Society. Ashram is located on the banks of the holy river Ganges at the foothills of the Himalayan ranges. Main aim to established this ashram is promoting spiritualism and of providing the spiritual practice for devotees.
Ashram conducted many charitable and spiritual activities such as Yoga-Vedanta Forest Academy, Sivananda Eye Hospital and Sivananda Ayurvedic Pharmacy.
