About Monastery
Dorje Drak Monastery is also known as Thubetan Evam Dorje Drak. It is a famous tourist place for Tibetan and Buddhist. It is run by the Tibetan exiles. Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche was founded the exiles. During the Communist attack, the monastery was built in the same design and style after the original mother monastery was destroyed in Tibet. Before the Chinese invasion it had 200 monks.
