About Christ Church
Christ Church was the first church with its neo-Gothic elements and second in the world. In year 1844 Colonel JT Boileau was designed the Christ Church but in year 1857 church was consecrated. In the year 1860, Christ Church clock was donated by Colonel Dumbleton and in 1873 the porch was added in this Church.

Church has a very majestic appearance and inside there are stained glass windows which represent faith, hope, charity, fortitude, patience and humility. Christ Church is very well maintain building but the mechanical appendages of the Church like the clock does not function-a natural progression of entropy through time.
Design of Christ Church
Christ Church has a 5 exquisite stained glass windows. Out of 5 Window one epresents the virtues of Faith, Fortitude, Charity, Patience, Hope and Humility. In September 1899 the biggest Pipe-Organ of Christ Church was erected. The Pipe-Organ is the biggest in the Indian subcontinent. 23 September 1899, Pipe-Organ was completed and its dedication and opening recital was conducted in 28 September 1899.
